Portable EEGs and Their Implications
EEG devices have become portable in the last decade. I am currently engaged in research investigating the use of EEG devices in modern social applications. One such application I am investigating is the use of a portable EEG device to be used as a sobriety-testing device for law enforcement.
I am currently testing the accuracy and reliability of relatively inexpensive EEG devices with regards to the P300 response from auditory and visual evoked stimulus.
Future Resesarch
For the future I have an interest in more intricate body-machine interfacing, focusing on an immersive virtual reality environment and the effects on EEG recordings.
